rca projection tv please help.?
I have an RCA projection TV that’s about 50 inches and it will not turn on. When you hit the power button it makes the quiet noise that happens when you turn it on, but it turns off immediately. The model # is P52151WK, and the chasis # is PTK169DTB. If anyone has any ideas I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks
There’s SEVERAL parts that need replacement on that chassis..I’m surprised you still have one….
Bulging HV caps in the horiz sweep circuit….Bad 14 V diode in the power supply secondary, bad MAIN cap in the DC rectifier circuit, and possibly bad caps around the SMPS oscillator Drive IC….about $335.00 total parts/labor to fix it.
