what was the movie that Dorothy dandrige and harry belafonte played in?

this question is for you “old schoolers” or movie/celebrity buffs. can you name the movie? and more importantly, dorothy dandrige had a serverely retarded daughter can anyone tell me the daughters name? and last I heard she was put in a mental institution soon after she was born, I know dorothy died but what happened to her daughter? I did a paper on her but I could not find anymore information about her little girl.

Her daughter, Haolynn (“Lynn”) is still in an institution.
