What’s the use of a “pitch pipe” for an acoustic/country guitar?

I have an acoustic guitar from Stagg that comes with a “pitch pipe”.
I don’t understand pretty much about guitars so I wanted to know what is a “pitch pipe”.

Each little pipe will say which note it is on it. You blow the relevant note, for example a B, in order to tune your B string to that note. (You do need to have a relatively good ear to get it right, put practice makes perfect)
