Spacedog Shakes Paws With “Vic” The Interactive Koala For Another Revolutionary Partnership With Qantas
The superb upping of the 2005 safari inspires an optimized and strange “Vic” with Conversive Technology. Dustin Callif
Qantas Airways and Spacedog, the interactive marketing agency of record for Qantas North America, have again partnered to launch an enhanced version of the campaign at qantascom/us from September 4th through the 29th in 2006. Spacedog
about Qantas products and services as well as discuss ideas for traveling to Australia and New Zealand. The combined result has created a persona driven sweepstakes entry process and a conversation engine that truly engages each individual consumer.
power the promotion and represents an efficient way to break free of the one to many communication model by addressing visitors individually.
Superior customer service and reinforcing the Qantas brand when it comes to one and one communication. All collected conversational information will be used to improve future Qantas sales team and marketing campaigns.
If you are looking to plan your trip down under, take a look at Qantas which was started in April 2005 which assisted in helping customers when they are planning their trip to Australia. Findings of the 2005 promotion revealed a median name label interaction interval or ‘talk time’ of about 8 1/2 minutes. 53% of the sweepstakes entrants then opted in to the Qantas eTravel Club newsletter. This promotion month showed 36% more visitors when looking at the past 12 month average.
When presented with the opportunity to converse with a koala bear, eighty four percent of contestants participated in the behavioral study with all but five percent choosing to fully complete it. see that 24% of people who started a Vic session came back to chat with Vic again during the month long promotion.
“This project is less expensive than a sweepstakes we would’ve hosted on a media associate’s site although it does necessitate more resources,” said Suzanne Hornwood Appel, Qantas eCommerce marketing manager. “The total budget was relatively low because the campaign included mostly Qantas internal promotional resources, partner marketing opportunities, prizes supplied by partners and viral word of mouth marketing.”
“We are excited about the opportunity to re team with Qantas and of course, Vic,” said Dustin Callif, managing director and “travel guru” at Spacedog, Inc. Conversive technology is the essential key toward creating a more conversational web usage, as is vital to capture the target demographic for this outstanding promotion. ”
Tapping into the power of Web 2 point 0 applications such as Widgets, Spacedog worked with Conversive to create a Yahoo Widget that allows site visitors to receive daily prize updates and winner alerts directly to their desktop that pull from a dynamic XML feed. The “Vic” widget lets people get news from the online site in an amusing and interest catching way and advertises “Vic’s Daily Giveaway” promotion when the messages come directly from Vic.

Very Best of $6.20 A good, inexpensive single-disc compilation of Rundgren singles may not be what the world’s been waiting for, but it’s a fine thing nonetheless. Largely avoiding the big pretensions of many of his post-Something/Anything? albums, this record distills 15 years of releases into a hits-just-keep-on-coming set which makes sense of the sensibility that produced the bemusedly soulful “Hello It’s Me,” th… |
