Appreciate The Full Splendor Of One Of Rock’s Time-Honored Bands On Vinyl

Wowing fans of all ages for the last half-century, The Rolling Stones, kings of rock and roll, have been playing music since 1962. Continuing to amass more fans generation after generation, they have released over two dozen studio albums and hundreds of singles, live albums and compilations, containing dozens of memorable songs.

Mick Jagger and Keith Richards are founding members, and Charlie Watts officially joined the band on drums in 1963 after Tony Chapman’s early exit, all originally from London, England. Ronnie Wood joined the band in 1975, and the four of them have been performing together ever since. These four men have made rock and roll history, though many other members have been featured in the band, they are one of the longest lasting bands in the industry.

In the early days, they gained popularity by covering famous American R&B and Blues tracks, but Jagger and Richards began collaborating on songs early on and found monumental success in writing songs for the band. Among various others, they have recorded albums with classics such as ‘(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction’, ‘Paint It Black’, and ‘Gimme Shelter’ over the decades. The band has sold upward of 200 million albums around the world and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1989. In 2008, Billboard Magazine featured them at number two on ‘The Billboard Hot 100 Top All-Time Artists’ after Rolling Stone Magazine ranked the band at number four on the ‘100 Greatest Artists of All Time’ in 2004.

It’s no doubt that these classic performers continue to deliver after all these years, but when enjoying their music, some might argue which medium is the most suited for them.

Listening to music on a record player, you receive that timeless rock sensation with the authentic sensation associated with Rolling Stones vinyl. Vinyl is a timeless medium for music fans, and over the years has lived on because of the unique experience that comes along with playing records and the variety of turntable is just as crucial as the music playing on it. Rega turntables provide high quality and are moderately inexpensive, making them easily available for anyone seeking to indulge the art; there are so many variant types of turntables, but for a truly organic feel that compliments the Stones.

The Stones are just as timeless as vinyl records and to experience them on any other medium is to cheat yourself out of a truly unique experience. Even if you are too young to recognize what it was like when vinyl ruled the music business, there is such a unique feel to it that should not go unappreciated.
