Get Nervous
Im finally old enough to get a job, but im a Little nervous….?
When i go into a building/store, do I just ask if i can get a job or do I have to fill an application?
Please help, I dont want to look like an idiot when I go in lol
First ask for an application. Fill it out. When you bring it back, filled out, ask to speak with a manager, and hand it over personally. Then, about a week later, if you haven’t heard back, call and ask to speak with whichever manager you talk to when you hand over your application (obviously make sure you get a name when you hand over your application).
You need to be persistent, in this economy. If you don’t follow up on your application, they’ll assume you aren’t interested.
