Gene Cotton

Featured as headliners at the famous Cotton Club as teenagers, they later became film stars after being?
spotted by Samuel Goldwyn. They were dancers along side Gene Kelly in ” The Pirate.”
*Pondering a moment* The Nicholas Brothers, Fayard and Harold Nicholas were two of the most charismatic dancers ever captured on film.
The Nicholas brothers were still boys when they were featured at New York’s Cotton Club in 1932. Though young, they were billed as “The Show Stoppers!” And despite the racial hurdles facing black performers, they went on to Broadway, then Hollywood.
Harold died in 2000 and now Fayard is gone as well…
