What’s the biggest, funniest, dumbest, most outrageous lie any President has ever told the American people.
President Nixon said after Watergate scandal:
“People have got to know whether or not their President is a crook. Well, I’m not a crook. I’ve earned everything I’ve got.”
It is a lie, but it had very little consequences.
