New At Hmv: Come Around Sundown, New Take That Album & Beatles Red Album

A number of big names are releasing new material in the approach to the yearly Christmas showdown with Simon Cowell’s X Factor winners.

The next couple of months will see the release of a newly remastered Beatles CD, Take That’s new album and the latest Kings og Leon offering..

New Kings of Leon Album

The latest Kings of Leon album, Come Around Sundown, will be released on October 18th and, they hope, will build on the success of previous effort ‘Only by the Night’.

The latest Kings of Leon album lyrics have reportedly been the source of some consternation for front man Caleb Followill, who told Uncut magazine that all the lyrics on the band’s new album were ad-libbed.

In the publication’s November issue he raised his worries that the album would not match their previous effort and that these insecurites were only dismissed after his girlfriend, model Lily Aldridge, loved the album.

Take That New Album

Dust off your old Take That CDs because he’s back. Robbie Williams returns to the boy band where it all started for the Take That new album. After quitting 15 years ago Robbie is said to be “embarrassingly excited” at his return to the Take That fold, while fellow bandmate Mark Owen said:

“Now the reality of the five of us making a record together feels like a dream. It’s been an absolute delight spending time with Rob again.”

The public’s appetite has been whetted by reunion gigs this summer.

A new Take That album featuring Robbie is what their fans have been most looking forward to, though, and its release is sure to impact the charts on 29th November.

The Beatles Red Album

Available for purchase from 18th October, the Beatles Red Album has been digitally remastered by engineers from EMI’s Abbey Road Studios and is sure to be a must have addition to your Beatles CD collection.

The original compilation was released three years after the Beatles’ split in 1970 and the analogue sound has been expertly maintained.

For any Beatles fan, this CD, the newest addition to the Beatles CD catalogue and featuring such timeless classics as ‘She Loves You’ and ‘Hard Days Night’, will be a must buy..
