Edison Record

What was the first motion picture machine/camera?
I’m doing a project on the history of motion pictures. Not the recorded ones but like the cameras/machines. I’ve been looking everywhere for the very first one invented. I’m caught between this one that thomas edison made and the zoopraxiscope. I’m looking for the very first one that could simply show a film of something but not recorded yet. The VERY first one. Not the film name but the machine.

using the motherufkcing awesome power of google, try and click the formats, they have to show what plays them. And what plays them is your answer.
I have no time to go look for your answer if you don’t actually TRY to get an answer on you own first.
EDIT:
zoopraxiscope
3 seconds later I found that.

No! $9.98 Hitch up your I-Pods, egg-headed hipsters of the future: They Might Be Giants, the out-there band that files its sound under the banner of “Can’t We All Just Get Along” is speaking your language. What they’re saying is No!, but in a way that’s weirdly welcoming, especially to anybody who’s over 3 and has a hard drive. No!’s computer enhancements (animation, games, and a sing-along scroll bar) don’… |

Psychotic Supper $2.32 A little too edgy to be considered pop metal, Tesla were probably the least pretentious band of the genre. On Psychotic Supper, they focus on understated, bluesy hard rock, with an occasional acoustic guitar thrown in for variety. The result is well worth a listen, and this album contains some of their best material, including the anthemic “Edison’s Medicine” and the no-bull “Call It What You Want… |

The Grudge 2 (Unrated Director’s Cut) $1.52 The Grudge 2 is a spooky installment in Takashi Shimizu’s hardworking Ju-on/Grudge series of horror pictures. It doesn’t carry the disorienting thrill of the very first Japanese Ju-on features, but it’s a lot creepier than anybody could have expected. The story picks up from the end of the first Hollywood version of The Grudge, and has nothing to do with Ju-on 2, Shimizu’s Japanese sequel. Sarah … |
