Dylan Nashville

What would you consider to be the poorest Album recorded by one of your Favourites when they were?
still on top of their game?
I would go for Dylan’s “Nashville Skyline”, especially as it followed on from “John Wesley Harding”, his finest imo.

It is your views that matter, not mine. Thanks in hope.
Call me crazy, but I’ve never cared for “Southern Accents” by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. I know it had “Don’t Come Around Here No More” on it, which was a big hit but I never liked that album. The title song is incredible but the rest of it just sounds really dated to me. Whenever I listen to it, it just screams “’80s!” to me. Pretty much everything else by him is timeless. I’m not saying that “Southern Accents” is bad. I just think that album sounds more like he was being forced to go in a certain direction. Plus, he says that he was heavily into cocaine at the time and it was brought into the studio and had a bad effect…I don’t know. I just think his other albums are a lot better…
