Double Vision
Why am I having double vision even after having eye muscle surgery?
Im 18 and just had it done 3 days a go and been having double vision only in some positions I make my eyes look. People say that my eyes are completly straight now after surgery. Is it because my eyes have to first get used to this new position?

Did you have surgery to correct strabismus? The surgery could have made it so your eyes are even now, but one of your extraocular muscles could be too strong. This would account for your double vision when you look in certain directions. If your eyes still experience double vision, you may need to get a prism ground into your glasses. Double vision isn’t pathological so you could just live with your eyes the way they are now.
Talk to your surgeon and eye doctor to see if this is normal and whether it will resolve on its own and what treatments are available.
