What are some good MODERN Groove/Disco/Funk style bands?

I already know Ratatat, Under the Influence of Giants, Killers, Bravery, Gorillaz, etc. I am looking for some real gritty funk groove stuff. Like a mix between Portugal. The Man, and UTIG. I don’t want just dancy music, i want something melodic, passionate and above all Funky and Groovy. Thank you very much.
