Did you find preparing for baby overwhelming?
I am 4.5 months along and I feel overwhelmed with planning, trying to decide what I want to do for birth, dealing with money issues (paying for the prenatal out of pocket through health dept) and trying to cope with becoming a mom, I am scared to death. My husband seems way too calm compared to me, I feel like I am always a wreck with worry. Did anyone else go through this? how did you cope with it?
There is a ton of stuff to think about. I’m 7 1/2 months now, and believe me, I have been freaking a little too. I just ask advice from my mom, my mother-in-law and friends who have had babies. They have tons of advice and are very happy to give it out. I also just went online and found a bunch of checklists like what I would need, etc. That helped a lot, I’m a big list person. The main thing to remember is baby is coming whether you are ready or not, so just try to get through it the best you can. I guess the maternal instinct is a real thing and kicks in right away.
