What was/is it about David Bowie that YOU appreciate the most?

David Bowie, Ziggy Stardust, who cares what you call him the man is a glam rock legend, what are some of the main things that YOU appreciate the most about him and his music?

I love so many things about David Bowie. I think part of his appeal to me is his flexibility and versatility. He is always able to change his looks or his music and his style to stay current somehow. Nothing he does ever sounds old or stale to me. He just seems to have a lot of class as well which just adds something to his talent. He doesn’t seem afraid to take chances. I think that’s one reason he has enjoyed so much success for so long.
