Hypnosis Course Review – Know Before You Buy
Today’s hypnotic methods are nothing like the old images of of older methods. Instead, today’s experts achieve astounding influence using more sophisticated approaches. Those who master the methods can wield immense power in all areas of their lives.
The wonderful fact about the world we live in today is that what used to be closely guarded esoteric knowledge is now accessible via the Internet. The Internet levels the playing field.
Now we have almost the opposite problem – there’s too much on the ‘net.
There’s a lot on the web that can only be described as junk (to phrase it mildly). We are living in a wonderful era at a fabulous time, especially when it comes to information. We can easily find lots of home study programs, but how can you tell which are any good without wasting a lot of money and, more importantly, time?
I hope this bit of writing helps you out. I’ve been drawn to in hyphosis since I was a kid. A paperback book was my first exposure to “esoteric knowledge”. It had a black spiral on the cover (spirals seem to be an image of hypnosis almost as much as pocket watches are).
It taught an older form of hypnotic technique. I have to say I did learn from it.
That was the start of what became a bit of a hobby for me. When I got to college I would amuse people at parties with a few hypnotic stunts. Not the highest use of the art, I admit.
Since then I’ve attended live seminars and training programs and collected just about every book and course I came across. As I said, it was a bit of a hobby for me.
The most important news in the past few decades has been the development and refinement of methods based on the astounding work of Dr. Milton Erickson. If you’ve heard of Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP), that’s based on Dr. Erickson’s work.
Even in its simplistic form, this approach is way beyond what I was doing at those college parties.
The best part is that there are several terrific courses that you can get. The really bad part is that there are an abundance of not-so-good and even really awful ones too.
How can you tell which hypnosis course is worth the investment? Which, of all the ones out there, will best help you reach your hypnosis goals?
Here are a couple of suggestions for your consideration.
The first is forget about any course that comes without a money-back guarantee. By that I mean at least two months to use it and give it a fair evaluation during which time you can request a refund if (the program doesn’t live up to it’s promises.
You should have at least two months because even with the accelerated learning of the best courses you’ll require a week or so to get real results. It will require a month to give it a fair trial.
I think the two month trial period is a good minimum because life happens and some extra time is good when something happens and aren’t able to practice steadily.
A guarantee is a good sign because someone with a good course has confidence that it will work as advertised. They also realize knows that most people are honest so they aren’t afraid to offer a strong guarantee.
Good business people wouldn’t want to keep your money if they didn’t give great value in return.
The next idea I’ll mention is to engage your other-than conscious mind in the selection. I know that may sound a little woo-woo, but if you’re going to get in to hypnosis you’d better get used to dealing with the subconscious.

These are the best I’ve found after looking at dozens. I honestly believe you can learn modern hypnosis from any of them. Each course give more information and valuable training than some live seminars I’ve been to. You’d very likely be happy with any of these. If money is no object (or this is your hobby like it is for me) get them all.
If that’s not the case, begin to make your selection by getting clear on why you want to learn hypnosis. Is it to have more influence at work? To help with relationships? Tohelp to smooth your day-to-day interactions? We all have our own reasons.

As you do this, it’s likely that you’ll notice that one appeals to you more that the others. Or you may feel a real connection with the first course you consider.
Notice those feelings. It’s as good a guide as any to select the course that’s the right fit for you.
