Is it acceptable to wear tank tops in Argentina?
I will be studying in Cordoba, Argentina for a couple of months and was wondering if it was generally acceptable for women to wear tank tops or whether it is more common to have their shoulders covered. I personally live out of tanks, but I can see how people might prefer to dress more conservatively. But from what I can tell, their style is fairly similar to the US…
Also, is there anything else I should steer clear of?
I see no problem with you wearing tank tops. Its all about common sense when you go anywhere and are not sure about how to dress, I personally love tank tops as long as they are not the spaghetti strap ones. Their style is much like the US, you souldnt have a problem. In Peru women dress about the same as in the US, when my best friend moved here from Peru alot of her clothes where similar to mine. So go ahead and pack all the tanks you want, and when you get there if you feel uncomfortable you can always look at the locals and see how they dress. I hope you have lots of fun in Cordoba, Argentina is a very beautiful place to visit.
