Could a Ron Paul presidency have a huge affect on European sovereignty?
If the US left NATO, the UN, and started to bring our troops home from around the world could it cause European nations to reevaluate the issues of their sovereignty?
Could the fact that the US now refuses to police Europe make them more independent?

Don´t move those 50 K soldiers (who btw. are not there to defend anyone in europe) away from europe. We are gonna be invaded from the invisible bogeyman the moment the troops leave.
I mean just imagine If those americans leave the EU member states only have abou 1,8 million of their own troops left + no enemy near by.
It would be a horror.
The fact that the EU spends 200 billions a year on defence would become absolutely worthless because of this.
The eurofighters would fall out of the sky, the ships would sink an the tanks would disintegrate the moment thos 50 K leave.

Because the europeans are more than capable to defend them selfes against all military threats.
