What is this song called?

What is the title of a late 60s/early 70s soul/funk song with a reoccurring trumpet solo? It sounds like “Grazing in the grass” or Cornelius Brothers “Treat her like a lady” or maybe a James Brown song. I don’t know the words to the song, but the backing guitar plays a pattern like this: G sharp 4-5 times, then A sharp 4-5 times back and forth over and over again. The trumpet solo comes in every verse, and it plays 5 notes by itself with no accompaniment from any other instrument in the song.
