Comes Around
What cosmic force makes this statement true, ” What comes around goes around”?
If this world didn’t have some kind of design and order, then this statement wouldn’t be true. But what comes around just about always goes around, so it seems. So who, or what kind of cosmic force guides these natural laws?
By cosmic force, I’m referring to vast universal laws like the way you treat other people is how you are generally treated, or how good things happen because you gave in some other way to create that good thing, even though you didn’t expect something in return. I’m talking about life experiences, not physical principles or the solar system.
In other words, ‘how could there be a justice system without a judge? So who or what is the judge?
Good question. The short answer is God. But to be more specific and detailed we need to understand the nature of the Lord’s presence in this world and how His energies are acting in this world.
First, the energy of the Supreme is all pervading. The material elements — earth, water, fire, air, ether, mind, intelligence and ego– are emanations from the Supreme. They are His separated material energy. And the energy which maintains the material elements in different forms and bodies is also the energy of the Supreme. On top of that the Lord pervades the cosmos in his feature of Supersoul or Paramatma, which is a plenary expansion of Himself and fully Himself in potency and power residing in the core of the heart of every living being. In this capacity He is accompanying the living being while he remains entrapped in the material world. He witnesses each desire, thought and action.
So because the Lord is witnessing everything we do, think and desire, He is in the perfect position to create the reaction that we deserve. It is simply common sense.
