Can someone explain to me what the law of attraction is and can it make my wish come true?
Well i have a wish that i really what to make come true and i was looking up ways to make wishes come true and someone said something about the law of attraction. If you think about your wish often it will come true. So then i looked up the law of attraction and it was all very confusing and i didn’t really understand. So can someone explain to me what the law of attraction is (quite simply im not the smartest of people). And whatever it is can it make my wish come true?
Other ways to make wishes come true are welcome too.
This is not the law of attraction exactly but it is a way of making your wish come true.
First, realize that to get anything, you have to be willing to make some effort. It is not as simple as throwing a coin into a wishing well.
Now, you did not give any example of what kind of wish this is, whether it is for a relationship or an object or an event, etc. But the first thing you need to do is analyze what it is you want and figure out why you want it–what will it do for you, how will it make you feel.
For instance, if your wish is for money, like winning the lottery, why do you want it? Would it be because being rich would make you feel powerful? Would it be because it would enable you to travel? And if so, how would traveling make you feel? Would it give you a feeling of freedom? You see how you have to boil it down to the basic feeling that you feel your wish would give you.
If you wish for a certain person to love you, how would that make you feel? Would you feel like you had higher status because the person is someone who is admired by everyone? Or would you feel more secure if this person loved you, like you wouldn’t be alone in life and someone would help you take care of everything?
If you wish for a home of your own, what would that give you? A feeling of being stable and safe? A feeling of being independent and grown-up?
I think you have the idea now. You must understand what it is that your wish would make you feel, what it would give you that is the real desire behind your wish. So the real desire behind wanting money is not the objects or experiences that money can buy, but the feelings that those objects or experiences would give you.
Now the next step is to find out if there is some way that you can begin to experience that feeling even before you get your wish. The reason why you do this is that “like attracts like,” meaning something attracts things that are similar to it. Here is an example: If you want to be happy, but you feel you can only be happy if you have a lover (having a lover is your wish in this example), then probably you feel sad because you don’t have a lover yet. But being sad will not attract a lover. Being happy will attract a lover. Do you get the logic? So you must somehow begin to make yourself feel as you will feel when you get your wish. And this way you create a certain aura of energy around yourself, an energy of the happiness of love, and that way you will attract someone, because love and happiness attract the same. You may have noticed how everyone is drawn to a happy, cheerful, loving person. Love is catching. Love attracts love.
What if you want to travel abroad? You have to start traveling now, to the extent that you can, even if it means visiting the local zoo, the nearest beach, the next town. Start to experience the fun of travel, the movement, the experience of new things and meeting new people and tasting new foods. By acting as if you can already travel (which you can, even though it may be only to a limited distance now), you will eventually attract to yourself the opportunity to travel to another country.
What if your wish is for going to college? You have to start learning now, reading books, being curious, taking a free online class, researching what you need to apply for scholarships and apply to schools.
I don’t know if these examples are close to what your actual wish is. But if not, it will be up to you to figure out how you can make a beginning in having the feeling that is behind the object, person, or experience that is your wish. Realize how you think it will make you feel, figure out how you can start to feel that way a little bit now, and attract your wish to yourself by the principle “like attracts like.”
This is not about pretending that you already have your wish or drawing pictures of it or thinking constantly about what you wish you had. This is about taking action and changing your mental outlook so that you become the kind of person who will attract your wish to you. If you really do this, doors will begin to open and you will find opportunities to fulfill your wish. But you must create the feeling NOW that you want your wish to bring you. There must be some way, even a small way, to do this. And you will build on that small effort until it becomes bigger.
