Assisting a Child with ADHD Calm Down and Concentrate
Having a hyperactive child who cannot effectively handle stress or frustration is not just physically and emotionally demanding to parents but to the child as well. Take your child for a short walk to get the added energy off. Teenagers or older children may want to walk around the block on their own, so it may be good for you to merely consent them. Remind them also of how to keep themselves safe while walking alone; persuade your child to do some non-hostile physical activities when they sense like blowing off some cascade.
Hone some art projects together or involving other siblings. Even just shading the sheet in a coloring book requires some concentration, so this is a great way to keep your child focused on something that he or she will get pleasure from. Your child may desire certain art form over others, so check that you keep his or her art supplies complete.

Children with ADHD can get calmed pretty suddenly by rubbing their backs, or massaging their shoulders, shaft, and limbs.
