Stephen Stills Manassas Rock Music CD Review
Manassas is the latest release from Rock Star Stephen Stills, and I can only think of one word to describe this CD… AWESOME!
The CD opens with a great track, Song Of Love, that I anticipate will be heard on radio stations everywhere, and deservedly so. It really is a very nice track.
Stephen Stills possesses the characteristic of being able to win you over with him talent alone. The kind of artist I really enjoy listening to.
I give Manassas my highest recommendation. It just plain belongs in any serious music collectors collection regardless of genre preference.
While the entire CD is really very good some of my favorites are track 5 – Both Of Us, track 11 – Don’t Look At My Shadow, and track 21 – Blues Man
My Bonus Pick, and the one that got Sore [...as in "Stuck On REpeat"] is track 1 – Song Of Love. What a nice track!

Gram Parsons: Fallen Angel $6.32 Cynics have suggested that death is a shrewd career move for some artists, and when it comes to singer-songwriter Gram Parsons, whose life, work, and demise are chronicled in Fallen Angel, they may be right. Although undeniably talented, Parsons never had a hit and made just six albums, and only one of them (the Flying Burrito Brothers’ The Gilded Palace of Sin) is a bona fide classic. That’s one … |

Whatever the problems, Redford has worked it out beautifully in this leisurely paced adaptation of Nicholas Evans’s bestseller. When the prized horse of New York magazine editor’s … |

The Horse Whisperer $3.19 Although it’s best viewed on a big theatrical screen to take full advantage of Robert Richardson’s breathtaking widescreen cinematography, it seems likely that most people will see this classy romance in the comfort of their own homes. Adapted from the bestseller by Nicholas Evans and directed by Robert Redford, the film did respectable business at the box-office, but it was too sprawling and too … |
