My son is obsessed with choo choos?
My son just turned 2. Everything is choo choo. He wants to play with his choo choos, and not much else. He wants Thomas on TV all the time. He says choo choo this and that. He never needed a sleeping teddy bear or anything, and now he wants to even sleep with his trains. He lights up when he can wear a shirt with a train on it. Tell me about your kid’s obsession, and how long it lasted!
My guy is 2 and a half-he LOVES trains too. We watch the Polar Express way more than I want to, but he loves it. We have lots of Thomas trains and clothes and his room is all THomas (bedding, wall paper, wall mural). We live in a town that used to be a huge stop on the rail road so everywhere you go in town there are tracks very close by. We bought a house in Nov and you can see the trains go by from our front window-that is a stop everything run to the window event. He always says “oh, that is a dirty diesel taking trucks to Thomas”. But I grew up in a rail road town too, so I get his interest in them and have no issue with it. I love to play with the little Thomas trains too (hehehe) and I think Thomas has a good message about working together and getting along so I encourage his love of trains. It will be a sad day when I must pack away all those trains-but I guess when he goes to college he will want a big boy room. LOL.
Also-Gund makes a stuffed Thomas, Percy, and James. A lot easier on them than sleeping with the hard little trains.
