Hunters at the EM
Use traps all the time. The time you will delay your enemies is time you can use to finish them
Pay attention to the areas and learn how to use it for your own advantage. Breaking Line of Sight (LOS) will help you avoid other players skills and even pass undetected some times

- Use quick shot to lower your enemies speed, same applies in melee combat… even if you die, someone else can get the creep if it kills you and tries to run (slowly)
- Remove poison from you and your team with your skill.
- Set traps whenever you can, you never know who is in stealth stalking.
- Set campfires, large combats consume power and people needs to temporary retreat to recharge. Lots of hunters doing this helps a lot.
Hunters can use the poison resistance skill in other companions to remove poison effects even in combat.
Try tobe on focus as much as possible since creeps will try to run away. If this happens and you have enough focus you can use Merciful Shot (if the creep is at 25% morale or less) and end his scaping
If you are planning on doing Monster Play (PvMP) I recommend to NEVER USE your destiny points on PvE mode. It is useless and it may mean that you are doing something wrong if you need to spend DP in regular game play. Instead save those for your monster… you will get better results in MP.
Use the Backspace Key to automatically select the closest target. This is specially useful at the Ettenmoors in crowded areas where you barely know your character form the all others ![]()
You can change the appearance of you Monster character using upgrades. This can be used in two ways:
- By adding upgrades to a low level character to make it look more threatening even thoug is low level.
- Or not using visual upgrades at all to create the feel you character is new when it already has some improvements.
The stables that allow you to go to the Ettenmoors (After level 40) are:
- South Bree (South Gate)
- Rivendell
