There are different tools to record videos in-game. One of them is Fraps. You can download it at http://www.fraps.com/
There are two versions: Free (will show Fraps textx) or paid for unlimited options.

If you are going for a while or for un uncertain amount of time you can give someone else you trust access to manage your house so he / she can pay your unkeep.
There are lots of things to do.
- Finish quests… there are some good ones that give good rewards
- Work on your gear to increase your stats
- Work on traits to raise your stats
- Last two points will help you with both soloing and Monster Play
- Get into a raid and go get some cool stuff for your character.
- Work on traits again
- Work on crafting, housing or any other stuff
- Help friends
If you are going on vacation or leaving the game for some weeks be sure to pay your house maintenance or you will return to find you are homeless.
try to keep every reputation item you get even if its not useful at the moment since each item can be used with higher levels (aquiatance, friend, etc).
Since Book 11 when you are in a fellowship you can see who in the fellowship has the same quests marked with a small green icon. So you can see who else has it or who are the people with common quests.
Always keep the best gear that fits your required stats.
Blue items are good but there are some quests items (from Angmar specialy) that will give you same or better combinations.
Also, you can keep different jewelry, gear for different moments (raids, MP, Solo Play)
Gear with additional options with cooldown are ok but normally the cooldown makes it worthless.
Work on your traits to develop specific stats.
Find someone to craft new armor, jewelry and weapons. If you find some or in your kin get the right recipes and materials to reduce costs.
A great way to find your way to Level 50 (beside questing) is killing mobs in Himbar or Eastern Angmar. The XP at those places is high while you can gather crafting components. Quests also give good XP in the area.
Things to consider to choose the right bow:
Speed: the less the number the faster the weapon.
Damage: Common, Fire, Light, Westernesse, Beleriand and Dwarf-Made are available. There are some mobs that require (specially at higher levels) more than common.
If you are planning on doing Monster Play (PvMP) I recommend to NEVER USE your destiny points on PvE mode. It is useless and it may mean that you are doing something wrong if you need to spend DP in regular game play. Instead save those for your monster… you will get better results in MP.
use LFM to Look For More, not to find a fellowship.
Use LFF if you are alone and want to join a fellowship.
this may sound redundant but some players do not want to lead a team.
There is no official data on this but here are some data collected from different sources (including the Lore Book).
Fire: good against snow animals, Nazguls and undeads.
Light: good agains trolls and undead.
Beleriand: good against orcs, undead
Westernesse: good agains undead
Ancient Dwarf-make: good against drakes
When you target another character or an item, or node you can type /follow to get automatically there.
Get the reputation items and stack them in your inventory or in your vault space and exchange it all at once by getting the quest after the items. This will save space in your quest log since it is easy to reach the limit. Specially if you have normal quests and monster player quests besides reputation quests.
