How much would it cost to have a car painted either candy apple red or baby pink?
tomorrow i am getting my very first car, a jaguar xj6. it’s a reddish color and i would like to paint it either candy apple red or baby pink. how much money would this usually cost? some people say THOUSANDS but my friend got her focus painted for 300 and it looks incredible. do colors like this cost more? thanks
Yes it will cost thousands, your friends focus looks “incredible” because it is a fresh paint job. For $300 your friend only got a basic paint engine, you might be able to get baby pink for about $600 since it’s a specialty color.
A candy apple color requires a pearl which adds about 2 coats of paint and ends up costing thousands. My brother had his car done in candy a few years ago and he paid about $3,600.
