what are the stipulations of a registered sex offender near a bus stop?
i have a tenant that lives in my neighborhood and i just found out he is a registered sex offender. there is a bus stop within a certain amount of feet from his home, not to mention he has 2 little girls. i want to know the stipulations he has about being near a bus stop? he committed his crime 12 years ago and with a 2 year old child.

I depends on what state and local city and county he lives in! There are no national stipulations! Also, he probably has permission to reside where he currently is. Is there a problem? Other than you just finding this out, has he done anything you should be concerned about?
The registry summary does not always give the full picture. You do have access to court records, why don’t you find out the facts of his case before you draw conclusions and start taking distance measurements? The Registry could have been a plea arrangement where if he decided to fight the charges in court he could of risked 30 years. Things are not as black and white as many would think!
