Could “Buddy Holly” by Weezer work as a choir song?

I have been assigned to choose a unison song for my house in school to sing. Last year, the house that won sang “Viva La Vida” by Coldplay, and the year before that was “Somewhere Over the Rainbow”. I am considering choosing the Weezer song “Buddy Holly”. Do you think that it could work as a unison choir song for 50 teenage boys to sing?
