Why is the British press so negative, putting down everything any other nation does?
If you think that’s bad, you should see what they say about Britain.
If you only read the tabloid press you’d think we were some sort of crime-ridden hell hole full of lazy immigrants, murderous chavs and peadophiles.
People don’t want to hear good news, if you saw a newspaper in a shop where the headline read ‘Everything’s great, it’s all good really’ nobody would buy the newspaper. They have to exaggerate the bad things to get sales.
