Bob Scobey
Is there any Dixieland music available on XM radio?
I’ve looked at the XM list of music types available and there seems to be music styles from A to Z but no mention of Dixieland music. It’s a favorite of mine and the availability of it would have some bearing on whether or not I buy a satellite radio system. There is a listing for “traditional jazz”. Would this include Dixie? The San Francisco style of jazz (Bob Scobey) is quite similar. Help
From what I can tell no..for it all the time but according to some sources it is played on there. You are gonna be stuck to what is found on the internet mainly as it’s not a highly popular music in the eyes of the sat people.
Hell it’s only ocasionally played in the place of it’s birth New Orleans on the radio other than a few shows on WWOZ…
