blue/green ear wax?! what is this!? DX?
my brother is out of town for a few days and he left his daughter (my niece) with me….
yesterday she was complaining that her ear was bothering her, she was really specific with the ear that was hurting…
then today she was complaining again, so i gave her a motrin and then started to clean her ears with a QTip.
well the wax was bright blue and lime green colored….which freaked me out!
i don’t know what to do! is this serious? i’m only 15! DX plz help!

No, it is likely that she put a crayon or playdoh or something else that would melt into her ear. Call her pediatrician, because she will likely need to go to the er to have it removed.
At the er they will look into her ear and will do one of two things: if the crayon or object is whole they will remove it with next to no pain with an alligator clamp, so named because it looks like the snout of an alligator. Or they will use water to clean out her ear. IT IS VERY IMPORTANT YOU DO NOT TRY AND DO THIS YOURSELF AT HOME!!!! You can cause serious damage to her ear if you don’t know what you are doing!
