Nails can be a girls best friend and also their worst enemy. They are a relaitvely easy thing to make attractive, but they need constant work on account of the fact they just keep on growing. You could go to a manicurist or pedicurist to get this done, but unless you have lots of money, you’ll most likely have to do the work yourself. Lets take a look at some of the more important tips that will help you no end when doing your nails.
Plently of Light. When doing any sort of hand care or foot care work, make sure you are working in good light. Due to the intricate nature of working on nails, it makes it very difficult to do when you cannot see properly. It’s advisable to invest in a good lamp that can be moved around to where you need it most and has the power to illuminate properly.
Plan Ahead. One of the biggest mistakes people make when giving themselves manicures and pedicures is not planning exactly what they need and factoring in mistakes. It is very easy to slip with the nail polish when painting your toes, only to release the nail polish remove is downstairs in the kitchen.It is not easy hobbling down the stairs trying not to let your toes touch or brush up against anything believe me. Get everything sorted before you start and have some nail polish remover and pads close to hand at all times.
Use the Right Tools. You can try and save money by purchasing the cheapest nail tools that money can buy, but you’ll only have to pay out again when your realise the ones you have are terrible.This is a fact that most people have had to learn the hard way, after spending hours trying to correct the damage done by poor quality nail clippers. You don’t even want to attempt using a cheap cuticle knifes. A good idea is visit your local health spa and see which products and tools they use, as they usually know which ones are the best.
