Big Joe

It’s Not Just Professionals Who Can Play Online Poker
Joe Cada proved that you don’t need to hold a degree to win at poker. At the age of 21 and a university drop out, many would have said that Joe had a long way to go before earning his first million dollars! However, he has happily proved that it isn’t always necessary to spend 4 years studying at university to win at poker. He is the youngest ever player in the history of the tournament to win. The World Series of Poker reached its climax with him winning with a pre-flop. It was Cada’s first time attempt at the tournament and it is a game he will never ever forget. When discussing his final hand play he said “I was kind of too scared to look so I just had my back turned, hoping it would work out for the best.”
Joe has been playing poker with his friends from a very young age and he has been waiting for the magical day he turned 21 so that he could compete. Due to the fact that the championship was held in the USA, the age restriction put upon the tournament was 21. The tournament had him competing against 6500 people and it was quite normal for players to sit down and play 12-hour sessions in a single stretch. The entire tournament lasted ten days.
Cada certainly had quite a ride during his ten days of play. The roller coaster that was his play had him with the most chips of any player at the beginning and by the 8th day he was getting so low that he was worried he may have been about to be knocked out. Unbelievably he somehow managed to get his game back on track. It seems that cards run in the family, as Cada’s mother is a blackjack dealer in Detroit. As a casino dealer, she was very aware that her son may be heading down a tricky path as she had witnessed first hand the highs and lows that poker players go through, but naturally she supported him throughout the tournament and was on hand to celebrate his title win.

Kamakawiwo’ole’s appeal lies in his love for prestatehood, precondominium Hawaii and the expressiveness of his gently p… |

Billy Joel Greatest Hits: Vol. 1-2 (2CD) $16.89 It’s one of the cruel ironies of music today that Billy Joel has been relegated to a kind of adult-contemporary hell, where his legacy is measured by soft-rock staples such as “Just the Way You Are,” “Piano Man,” and “New York State of Mind.” To be sure, well-crafted ballads are a part of his legacy, but they’re hardly the whole story, as this collection of his early and mid-period hits amply demo… |
