Can I get some opinions on this poem called ” behind closed doors” that I wrote please?
Denied justice, concealing her shame from society.
Reclusive tears settling upon a lake of a broken soul.
A nightmare, these things she endures.
All behind closed doors.
Belie he appears to be perfect.
A mirage, an illusion from a master of disguise.
Carefully he does plot each move.
Like in a game of chess.
He is the king, she is his pawn.
A marriage yes,
a partnership no.
For he controls all that happens,
behind closed doors.
