How safe is the Daly City in the SF Bay Area?

I plan to buy a house in Daly City. How Safe is that area compared to other area in SF Bay area?

It is reasonably safe.

The community is largely Filipino and middle class. It is not exactly a glamorous and posh suburb in the same vein as, say, most of the towns in Marin County. But it is certainly not economically depressed either. You may have to deal with some “nuisance” issues from young people who think they are living in some sort of ghetto (they are not). But violent crimes are quite rare in Daly City.

In short, there are far worse places to be.
