who would like to buy up to 30 Barney Kessel (1960………be bop + ) amazing jazz guitarist , albums.?
These mint albums are all signed by Barney.He was an amazing player and also a very gracious,generous human being.Always willing to pass on helpful information,musical hints to anyone keen to learn,but not question like “What strings do you use.” He regarded the guitar as merely a vehicle to express his musical feelings.He played with Billie Holliday,Fred Astaire,28 takes with Betty Grable,Momma Cass,and many others in the early hollywood days.Perhaps his best known track (pity) is Cry me a river, with Julie London. The arrangement took a massive 20 mins to work out ,and the track was recorded on the first take!!!!No more to be said.
