Bach Organ

Are mutations appropriate in Baroque organ music?
So I’m playing a Bach three part fugue, and in the top voice, I like to use the 2 and two thirds nasat stop on my organ. Were mutations around with bach and are they appropriate in baroque registration?
Mutations were certainly around in the 1600s-1700s. There is no reason to avoid using them. What would be more controversial is the use of equal temperament tuning. Although Bach was a great (maybe the greatest) proponent of equal temperament, most organs would have been tuned to some other specification, most likely mean-tone.
Here are the “odd” stops from the Tangermünde, Germany organ at St. Stephan’s As built by Scherer (Hamburg) in 1622-1624.
