How much does contact lenses cost in Australia?

I have just recently been diagnosed with a rare eye condition called keratoconus and told by the optometrist that I will need to wear Rigid gas-permeable contact lenses to treat the condition. I have been reffered to another optometrist to deal with the condition and prescribe the contact lenses. Any help will be appreiciated.
