In Itunes, does adding Album Covers for the Coverflow take up a lot of memory?

I just added the album covers for my 800+ song library on iTunes, and since I have done that my internet has been seeming to crash a lot more than it did before. Does this have anything to do with the space that the album covers take up? I know that the pictures are pretty high quality.

the picture take up hardly any space…ur just paranoid…try closing itunes b4 u open the internet then the internet wont crash as easily
