Agustin Magaldi

Question about the movie “Evita”?
What was the significance of the first photographer? He was the one that said “Don’t ask, anymore” at the end of the song “Another Suitcase in Another Hall”.
He looked like Agustin Magaldi.. was he the same person, and was he supposed to symbolize something different than the other photographers?
BQ: What was your opinion on the character Che Guevara (NOT Antonio Banderas)?
Oh, I knew that.. I’ve seen the stage version, too. The movie just confused me a little..
And I know about Che.. I just wanted people’s opinons!
Spoiler answer:
In the stage play Evita doesn’t sing “Another suitcase” but the girl she kicks out does. At the end of the stage version, Che says, “Don’t ask anymore.” For the movie, since Evita sings the song, it didn’t make sense that Che would say it so they had the photographer say it.
The Che character is vital to the telling of the story. Che is sort of the narrator. The real Che and the real Evita never met, but Che was probably a young man during the events the musical refers to and certainly had some opinions about it all.
