Again Sealed
96 accord spark plug seals went bad again?
I had the rocker arms seals replaced less than 7 months ago and now they are leaking again. Are they bad gaskets or did the mechanic pinched them and mess them up with installing them?
iam talking about the spark plug tube seals that come with the valve cover gasket kit. he is charging me 70 bucks for the kit. do to it all over again.
Rocker arms do not have a seal.
The intake and exhaust valves have seals.
The valve cover and spark plug access holes also have gaskets.
If it’s the spark plug access holes that are leaking you can purchase them from honda and replace them in about 1 hour.

Well they are a simple change out if that is the case. I would try another shop for the repair maybe. These 4 gaskets are funny and have a non-typical design in a typical Honda fashion. When I did my valve adjustment a few years ago I remember it was a bit of a task to remove the older ones from the valve cover.
Perhaps he never changed them the first time?
If you know how to turn a 10mm wrench and a phillips screwdriver you can do this job yourself. Double check a repair manual from the library but once you pull off the HT leads and two emmision hoses leading to the valve cover it’s really not that hard to do.
